Comparing 4 popular at-home LED devices - so that you don't have to!
Share
Over the last couple of years, at-home LED devices have blown UP in popularity, with many of my clients asking for recommendations - which one is the best, which one should they invest in! I have really took my time looking into the most popular ones, even trying them out for myself and seeing what I really think... so its about time I shared with you my thoughts, as a skin expert and acne specialist.
LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses different radiation wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin and stimulate various cellular processes. There are different colours of LED light, each targeting specific skin concerns, but as according to Dermalux, these 3 are the most well-researched and effective lights for LED:
-
Red light (around 630-660nm) promotes collagen production, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
-
Blue light (around 415-455nm) targets acne-causing bacteria and helps to reduce inflammation.
-
Near-infrared light (around 830nm) penetrates deeper into the skin to promote healing and improve circulation.
LED therapy is safe, pain-free, and is popular for its ability to improve skin texture, reduce signs of ageing, and manage acne.
In this blog, we’re comparing four of the most popular LED face masks on the market:
-
CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Mask
-
BeautyPro Photon LED Face Mask
-
Shark FlexStyle LED Face Mask

Georgia's Final Thoughts...
If you're looking to treat acne, go for a mask with blue light, like the BeautyPro or Shark. If your goal is anti-ageing, collagen boosting, and general rejuvenation, CurrentBody or Omnilux are worth the splurge. However, for me, the ultimate LED mask thats great in ease, value and TOTALLY worth it, is the Beauty Pro Photon LED Mask!
An extra bonus is that I have a discount code you can use on Look Fantastic: LFTFAFTERGLOWSKIN for 21% off!
